Visa Requirements: Most nationalities require a visa to enter Comoros. You can obtain a visa on arrival for USD 40 or apply online beforehand. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay.
Transportation: Domestic flights connect the three main islands (Grande Comore, Mohéli, and Anjouan). Inter-island ferries are also available but schedules can be unreliable. Taxis and shared taxis (bush taxis) are the primary mode of transportation within cities and towns.
Day 1: Grande Comore - Arrival & Cultural Immersion

- Things to know: The official language is French and Shikomori, but Arabic and Swahili are also spoken. Islam is the predominant religion. Pack light clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable walking shoes.
