Eritrea: A 3-Day Itinerary
Visa Requirements: Most nationalities require a visa to enter Eritrea. Apply well in advance through Eritrean embassies or consulates.
Transportation: Taxis and minibuses (buses) are the primary modes of transportation within cities and towns. For longer distances, consider renting a car with a driver.
Currency: The Nakfa (ERN) is the official currency. US dollars are widely accepted but bring crisp bills as tattered ones may be refused. Credit cards are not widely used.

- Eritrea is a relatively safe country, but exercise caution as you would in any unfamiliar destination.
- Dress modestly, especially when visiting religious sites.
- The official languages are Tigrinya, Arabic, and English. Learning basic greetings in Tigrinya will be appreciated.
