6-Day Itinerary: Exploring the French Southern & Antarctic Lands
Disclaimer: The French Southern & Antarctic Lands (TAAF) are incredibly remote and challenging to visit. Most islands lack developed tourism infrastructure. This itinerary assumes access via a research vessel or private expedition, not standard commercial travel.
Visa Requirements: As part of France, EU citizens can enter freely. Other nationalities should consult the French embassy for visa requirements.
Transportation: Access is primarily by research vessels or chartered yachts. Flights to Réunion (a French overseas department) are available and can be used as a staging point.
Day 1: Arrival at Kerguelen Island
