6-Day Itinerary: Exploring the Kingdom of Tonga

Visa Requirements: Most nationalities can enter Tonga visa-free for up to 31 days. Check with your local Tongan embassy or consulate for specific requirements based on your nationality.

Currency: Tongan Pa’anga (TOP). US dollars are widely accepted, but you’ll get a better exchange rate using TOP.

Transportation: Interisland ferries connect the main islands. Domestic flights are also available but can be expensive. Local buses and taxis are readily available in urban areas. Rent a car for more flexibility exploring the outer islands.

  • Sunday Observance: Sundays are primarily reserved for religious services and family time. Most businesses are closed.
