Belgrade Attraction Tours: Tesla, Fortress, Tower
Belgrade Attraction Tours: Tesla, Fortress, Tower
Some Belgrade attractions come with a guide built in, and a few of them need no advance booking at all. This is a short list of visits where you turn up, join the next group and leave knowing something new.
Nikola Tesla Museum
At Krunska 51 in Vračar, the museum is open every day: Monday 10:00 to 18:00 and Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 20:00. Entry is by guided tour only. Tours start on the hour, last about 45 minutes and include a live coil demonstration and a short film. The English-language tour costs 800 RSD and the Serbian one 400 RSD, paid in cash dinars because cards are not accepted.
Individuals do not need to book. Arrive about 15 minutes early, since groups form at the door. Parties of ten or more should reserve a day ahead. Check details on tesla-museum.org .
Belgrade Fortress
The park is free and open day and night. Inside, the Military Museum, Roman Well and Clock Tower are small ticketed objects, and a combined ticket for several of them costs roughly 300 to 400 RSD, so confirm current prices and hours on beogradskatvrdjava.rs .
Kula Belgrade 360 Deck
Kula Belgrade is a 168-metre tower in the Belgrade Waterfront district, opened in October 2024, and its observation deck on the 41st floor is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 with last entry at 21:00. Prices change with demand and run from about 800 RSD for an adult upward. Check the day’s price on belgrade360deck.com .
The Waterfront project itself is debated. It is a multi-billion-euro development started in 2014 without a competitive tender, and critics point to disputed land transfers, the clearing of Yugoslav-modernist buildings and effects on the riverbank. The view is good, and it helps to know the argument.
Museum of Yugoslavia
The museum in Dedinje covers daily life, design and politics in socialist Yugoslavia. It normally opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 and is closed on Mondays; adults pay 800 RSD, and entry is free on the first Thursday of the month. Confirm it is open on the day, either on muzej-jugoslavije.org or by phone, +381 11 3671 485.
Guided tours worth paying for
If you prefer a guide for the fortress and old town, compare options before choosing: see Belgrade guided tours on GetYourGuide . Look for small groups and a clear route.
Practical notes
Bus, tram and trolleybus rides are free, so hopping between these sights costs nothing. Demonstrations happen in Belgrade and can escalate quickly, so skip any protest area.
For route ideas that pair with these, see the walking tours page and the 3-day Belgrade plan .
Tip: take the 10:00 Tesla tour on a weekday, then walk to the fortress for the late-afternoon light.
