Evening three: the Distillery District after dark
Once its gas-lamp style lighting comes on, the Distillery Historic District’s cobblestone lanes turn into one of downtown’s easiest date-night walks, free to wander, with restaurants and bars staying open late.
A cruise, for the water without the ferry crowd

Yorkville and Casa Loma, for a change of pace

A free option if the budget runs out
Riverdale Park East’s grassy slope above the Don Valley faces the same skyline the CN Tower charges to see, and it costs nothing to sit there past sunset. It is a reasonable fallback for a couple whose reservation fell through, or simply a quiet stop before or after any of the paid evenings above.
