3 days adds Busan’s temples to the beach-and-market core
This route covers the same Day 1-2 beach, Gamcheon, and market core as the 2-day itinerary , then adds a Day 3 built around Beomeosa Temple and the seaside Haedong Yonggungsa. Expect roughly 50,000-105,000 KRW a person per day. Have a fourth day? The 4-day itinerary adds a full Gyeongju day trip on top of this.

Day 1: Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches
Haeundae Beach , Korea’s most famous stretch of sand, is free to walk or swim; grab street food (dwaeji gukbap or milmyeon, 8,000-12,000 KRW) for lunch. In the afternoon, move to Gwangalli Beach, quieter and backed by cafes, and stay for the Gwangan (Diamond) Bridge lit up at night, free from the sand.

Day 2: Gamcheon Culture Village and the markets
Metro to Toseong Station, then a short bus up to Gamcheon Culture Village, the pastel hillside built by Korean War refugees in 1955 and art-revitalized only from 2009 (free to wander; a paper stamp-tour map runs 2,000-3,000 KRW). Lunch is ssiat hotteok at BIFF Square. In the afternoon, browse Jagalchi Market, buy fresh hoe downstairs and eat it upstairs for dinner, or wander Gukje Market, the Korean War refugee market from Ode to My Father.

Day 3: Beomeosa Temple and Haedong Yonggungsa
Morning: bus or metro to Beomeosa, the mountain temple founded in 678 on Geumjeongsan’s slopes, home to a Jogye Order head temple and over 6,500 wild wisteria plants protected as Natural Monument No. 176. Free entry; walk the lower trail toward the Geumjeongsanseong fortress walls if time allows. Lunch near the temple, dwaeji gukbap or a set meal. In the afternoon, bus out to Gijang for Haedong Yonggungsa, the rare seaside temple built directly on coastal rock rather than a mountain, also free to enter. Head back toward Haeundae for dinner.

Getting around on 3 days: metro, bus, or taxi?
Days 1 and 2 stay close to Busan Metro Line 1; Day 3 needs a bus connection out to both temples, since neither sits on a metro line directly. A T-money card covers all of it, metro, bus, and most taxis. Full fare and route detail is in the main Busan guide .
Both temples on Day 3 are active places of worship, not museum pieces; dress and behave respectfully, and expect to remove shoes in some halls.
