Why not squeeze a rushed, cut-price Sundarbans day trip into Day 5?
Because neither the math nor the price works. Even the cheapest compressed package needs 2 full days at roughly INR 2,400 to 4,500 for the two nights combined, and a same-day round trip from Kolkata leaves almost no real time in the mangroves after the 3 to 4 hour drive and boat transfer each way.
