6 days fits in a second day trip, to Tongyeong
Days 1-5 follow the same beach, Gamcheon, market, temple, Gyeongju, and coastal-day plan as the 5-day itinerary ; Day 6 adds a second day trip out to Tongyeong, the harbor town nicknamed “the Naples of the East.” Expect roughly 50,000-145,000 KRW a person per day across the six. Only need five days? Drop Day 6 and follow the 5-day itinerary instead.
Book these before you go
- A room near a Busan Metro line, check rates on Agoda
- A T-money or Cashbee card on arrival, about 3,000-5,000 KRW
- A Gyeongju day tour from Busan on GetYourGuide for Day 4, or your own KTX/bus tickets
- A room booked ahead during BIFF (6-15 October 2026) or the summer beach peak, since six nights in one place is a bigger booking to get wrong

Getting around on 6 days
Days 1-3 stay close to Busan Metro Line 1; Day 4 and Day 6 both leave the city, so confirm each day trip’s schedule the night before rather than the morning of. A T-money card still covers every in-city ride across all six days. Full detail on both day trips is in the day trips guide .
Six days is enough to slow down; don’t stack Day 4 and Day 6 back to back if you can help it, since two long day-trip days in a row leaves nothing in reserve if a bus runs late.
