Four days is the shape that actually fits Penang: two for George Town’s heritage core, one for the hill and the temple, one for the coast. A fifth day, if there is one, belongs on the mainland.
Days 1 to 2: George Town’s heritage core
Split the UNESCO core over two mornings rather than one long day.
