Tel Aviv Museum Hours and Admission Prices
Before you go. Safety conditions in Israel can alter with little warning, and sirens, flight cancellations and airspace closures are all possible. Look up your own government’s latest travel advice when you book and once more before departure; the UK’s Israel travel advice is one place to read it. Download the Home Front Command app and find your nearest shelter on arrival.
Museum-going in Tel Aviv is easy to plan once you know the layout. One major art museum is in the centre, three more institutions are in the north of the city, and one small private museum sits above the sea in Old Jaffa. This page lists hours and prices in shekels (₪).

ANU and Steinhardt on one campus

Ilana Goor Museum

Independence Hall
Dizengoff House, at 16 Rothschild Boulevard, is where Israel’s Declaration of Independence was read in May 1948. It sits on the Rothschild walking route, so it is easy to pass.
Planning tips
- Museums open on Saturday, while markets are shut, so Saturday works for art.
- Each site sells its own tickets, and prices differ by group.
- Plan ahead for holidays, as hours can shrink or sites can close.
- Public transport accepts a Rav-Kav card or an app, not cash.
