Guided Visits in Armenia: Museums and Cable Car
Travel advice: UK FCDO guidance covers parts of Armenia. It advises against all travel within 5 km of the whole eastern border with Azerbaijan, and along the M16/H26 road between Ijevan and Noyemberyan. The US advisory is Level 2 and says not to travel to the Azerbaijan border region. The attractions below are away from those zones. Read the current wording at gov.uk and travel.state.gov , and keep to main roads in Syunik and Tavush.
Most guided visits in Armenia are sold by the venue at the door or by phone, and the prices are fixed in Armenian dram (AMD). A rough conversion is 370 to 390 AMD to the dollar. Tours in a foreign language usually cost more than tours in Armenian, so check the language when you ask.

Official pages: Matenadaran , History Museum , Parajanov Museum and Cafesjian Center . The National Gallery figures were read from a search summary of its visit page , so confirm them first. The History Museum also runs a separate exhibition, Myths, Cults and Cosmology, at 4,000 AMD.
Brandy tours
The Yerevan Brandy Company, which makes ARARAT brandy, is at 2 Admiral Isakov Avenue. Visits are by advance booking and tasters must be 18 or older. Its website carries the price list; third-party listings put tastings from about $35, so use that as a guide only.
The cable car as an attraction
The Wings of Tatev is ticketed on its own: 5,752 m, about 12 minutes, 6,500 AMD one way from March to November. Buy from the operator or at the Halidzor station. A day tour from Yerevan may or may not include the fare, so ask. The drive south is long, and many visitors break it with a night in Goris.
Who runs tours
Hyur Service, One Way Tour and Armenian Geographic (ArmGeo) all sell country tours. Armenian Geographic lists a Debed River rafting package priced per group, not per person, on its rafting page . Rafting Armenia runs river trips itself. When you compare offers, look at what the price includes: tickets, lunch, driver time and a guide in your language.
