Cancún Attraction Tours and Evening Shows
Overview
Most attraction tours around Cancún are evening outings or big parks south of the city. Pick by what you want to eat, watch and spend, and note that dollar prices below come from sellers and move with the season.
After-dark options
Xoxi Cancún. The former Xoximilco is a roughly four-hour boat night with a Mexican tasting dinner, an open bar, mariachi and a luchadores show. Nights run Tuesday to Saturday, with check-in at 19:00 and the finish at 23:00. You reach it on the Cancún to Puerto Morelos federal highway at Km 307. Guests must be at least 5, and ages 5 to 11 pay 25 percent less. Early online booking takes 10 percent off (7 to 20 days ahead) or 15 percent off (21 days or more). A hotel-transfer package is sold around US$118 to 135. Visit xoxicancun.com .
JOYA by Cirque du Soleil. The theatre is inside Vidanta on the Riviera Maya, around an hour from the Hotel Zone. The performance lasts about 80 minutes, and show-only seats start near US$100 to 120. Dinner packages cost a good deal more.
Columbus galleon cruise. Sailings leave from Marina Aquatours (about Km 6.25 to 6.5) and cross Nichupté Lagoon for roughly 2.5 hours. The set menus are lobster, steak or vegetarian, and a dock fee near US$15 is added.
Captain Hook pirate cruise. At about 3.5 hours, this family dinner cruise starts near 19:00 and features sword fights and a cannon show. Its pier is listed at the Km 5 terminal or the Oasis Palm Beach marina (Km 4.5), and about US$15 in pier fees is extra.
Parks and sails
Xcaret and Xplor. These parks lie in the Playa del Carmen area. Xcaret is at Km 282 on the Chetumal to Puerto Juárez highway, open daily from 08:30 to 22:00, and sells Xcaret, Plus and Total plans. Children aged 5 to 11 are about a quarter cheaper and under-4s are usually free. Prices are listed on the Xcaret price guide . Do not buy any dolphin or marine-mammal option, since those encounters are banned.
Catamaran sail to Isla Mujeres. Several operators run day sails with a snorkel stop. Ask what is included, particularly the marine-park wristband (reported at about 125 MXN in 2026) and any dock fee.
