Gdańsk Group Activities: Costs Per Head
Splitting a Gdańsk trip four or six ways makes some things very cheap and leaves others exactly as expensive. Family tickets, combined passes and free days do most of the work, and the trick is knowing which ticket each attraction offers before you reach the desk.
Museum of Gdańsk branches: family tickets and free Mondays
The city museum network sells family tickets, and on Monday it charges nothing at all.
- Amber Museum in the Great Mill: 37 PLN regular, 26 PLN reduced, or 99 PLN for a family ticket. Open 10:00-18:00, closed Tuesday.
- Artus Court on Długi Targ: 26 PLN regular, 19 PLN reduced, 70 PLN family. Closed on 8 October and from 30 November to 2 December 2026.
- Main Town Hall on Długa: 26 PLN regular, 19 PLN reduced, 70 PLN family. The tower is closed for renovation, so you pay for the Red Hall and the history museum only.

Maritime Museum: buy the bundle
The National Maritime Museum runs the Crane and three other sites, and its combined passes, valid to 31 December 2026, cost less than separate entries:
- Crane alone: 23 PLN regular, 17 PLN reduced, free on Wednesday 13:00-17:00.
- Crane plus the Maritime Culture Centre: 36 PLN regular, 27 PLN reduced.
- All four sites: 64 PLN regular, 48 PLN reduced.
For a group that wants the whole maritime story, the all-four pass is the one. Hours and passes are on nmm.pl . Note that the Sołdek steamship, one of the four, is on a shortened route with its superstructure closed until 31 October 2026.
Getting a group around
The ZTM 24-hour ticket costs about 22 PLN per person, against 4.80 PLN for a single ride with no changes or 6.00 PLN for a 75-minute ticket that allows them. If the group will make four or more transfer journeys in a day, the day ticket wins. Fares are on ztm.gda.pl .
For the airport, a shared Uber or Bolt to the centre costs about 45 to 70 PLN for the car, which split four ways is close to a bus fare each. Licensed taxi ranks charge about 60 to 85 PLN.
Day trips for a group
Malbork Castle sells timed tickets and admits up to 500 people an hour, so a group should book ahead. In the 2026 spring-summer season the family ticket was priced at 70 PLN per adult and 60 PLN per child, with under-sevens free, and a guide or audio guide is included. The verdict
For a group on a budget, the best day in Gdańsk is a Monday spent in the free city museums, followed by a Wednesday afternoon at the free Crane. Spend the savings on the four-site maritime pass.
