Seville for Couples: Sunset Spots and Slow Nights
The best romance in Seville happens after 19:30, when the heat lifts, the river turns gold and the old town finally sits down to dinner.
Where to watch the light go

- Puente de Isabel II: walk onto the bridge at dusk and look back along the river, then drop down to Calle Betis in Triana.

An unhurried evening
Kitchens rarely open before 20:00, so there is no hurry. Share small plates in El Arenal or Santa Cruz, and stay for a second round. A flamenco show works best afterwards. Small rooms such as Casa de la Memoria (from about €22) and Orillas de Triana (from about €25) keep the audience close to the singers. Mornings for two
Reserve the first Alcázar slot (about €15.50) on alcazarsevilla.org so that you reach the gardens before the groups. Then walk through the Parque de María Luisa, where fountains, rose beds and shaded paths are best before noon.
The thermal baths

Special dates
Semana Santa 2027 (21 to 28 March) fills the streets with processions at night, which suits some couples and overwhelms others. The Feria de Abril is expected on 13 to 18 April 2027. Both bring crowds and higher room rates, so book early.
Heat and comfort
Summer alerts above 40C are common. Keep midday for a long lunch or the baths, and leave the open-air walks for the evening.
About carriage rides
Horse carriages are a tradition, but heat is a welfare problem for the horses, and the city is moving to restrict them in extreme heat. In cooler months, a short early-evening ride is kinder, and walking costs nothing.
