Niagara Falls Tickets, Cruises and Tours
Tickets at Niagara Falls depend on which country you are standing in. US attractions sell in US dollars and Canadian ones sell in Canadian dollars with 13 percent HST on top. The notes below explain what each ticket buys, when it runs and how to get it.
Which ticket rules apply
- Buy online: Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls (timed entry through Niagara Parks) and most Canadian attractions.
- Buy in person: Cave of the Winds, sold only at the Goat Island windows or the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Welcome Center, with morning arrival recommended.
- Pay on the day: the Niagara Scenic Trolley in the state park, which charges a small fare per ride.
Boats
Maid of the Mist (US only) leaves from the docks at Prospect Point. In 2026 it sails from April 24 to November 8. Adult tickets are $30.25, ages 6 to 12 are $19.75, and ages 5 and under are free. Boats start at 9:00. The last departure is 17:00 in spring and autumn, 20:00 from late June to early August, and 16:00 from November 1. The ticket office closes 15 minutes before the last boat.
Niagara City Cruises (Canada only) runs a 20 minute Voyage to the Falls from the dock near Clifton Hill. Adults pay about $47.95 CAD and children 3 to 12 about $32.95 CAD. Daytime boats leave about every 30 minutes from 9:30, and evening illumination and fireworks sailings cost about $55 to $65 CAD.

A premium guided Power Station tour costs $53 CAD for adults and $34.50 CAD for children. White Water Walk, an elevator and boardwalk beside the Whirlpool Rapids, runs from April to mid November at about $21 CAD for adults and $13.50 CAD for children.
Journey Behind the Falls stays open while Niagara Parks redevelops it in 2027 and 2028.
Flights and jet boats
Niagara Helicopters takes off from 3731 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Flights last 12 minutes and carry six or seven passengers. Fares are about $185 to $195 CAD per adult, with couples packages near $370 CAD.
Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours departs from Lewiston, New York, with fares of roughly $75 to $85 USD. Wet Jet riders get fully soaked, and Freedom Jet riders stay dry under a glass dome. These motorised boats are the only commercial boats in the lower gorge.

Niagara Parks sells Adventure Pass Plus, a bundle of several Niagara Parks attractions with WEGO bus travel. Check the price on the Niagara Parks site before you buy.
Planning notes
- Waterproof clothing matters on every boat and deck.
- Both boat tours close for winter, so winter visitors rely on tunnels and the Power Station.
